An integrated combination of theory and clinical training, the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (APP) Program is a two-year program designed to provide mental health professionals with post-graduate advanced theoretical and clinical training in psychodynamic psychotherapy. The program includes three components: academic coursework and small-group case conference are the required components covered in the tuition; concurrent personal psychodynamic psychotherapy or psychoanalysis is the highly recommended third component of the program.
Special Note: We are making arrangements to make it possible for psychotherapists outside of Nashville to participate in the program. In particular, the small-group case conference component of the program will be available as two meetings on Monday afternoons for participants who live too far away to be able to attend other small-group case conferences.
