Nashville Center for Psychoanalysis & Psychodynamic Psychotherapy |
An integrated combination of theory and clinical training, the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (APP) Program is a two-year program designed to provide mental health professionals with post-graduate advanced theoretical and clinical training in psychodynamic psychotherapy. The program includes three components: academic coursework and small-group case conference are the required components covered in the tuition; concurrent personal psychodynamic psychotherapy or psychoanalysis is the highly recommended third component of the program.
Accessibility: APP conducts its classes in buildings that provide entry to participants with physical disabilities. We can serve participants better with advance notification of any special needs (e.g., physical, visual, hearing impairments.), and every effort is made to make appropriate accommodations. In any case in which attempt to make a session accessible has failed, leadership is advised of the need to study ways to prevent similar issues in the future.
