Welcome to the website for the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program sponsored by the Nashville Psychoanalytic Study Group. The program began in September of 2002 and the first class concluded in April 2004. A second class began in September 2004 and concluded in April 2006. The third class began in September of 2007 and concluded in April 2009. We plan to begin a fourth class on Monday, 13 September 2010.

The Nashville Psychoanalytic Study Group is a local chapter of the American Psychoanalytic Association, which is itself a regional chapter of the International Psychoanalytical Association. The study group meets monthly during the academic year to discuss topics of psychoanalytic interest and sponsors occasional workshops or public presentations. The study group is open to interested mental health professionals of diverse disciplines.
