Nilufer Yalman, Ph.D. Nilufer Yalman, Ph.D is a native of Istanbul, Turkey; a bi-lingual licensed clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst in private practice in Nashville. She is also a Training and Supervising analyst at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute.

Dr. Yalman is an active member of the American Psychoanalytic Association and the Nashville Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. She has published articles in psychoanalytic journals, and teaches classes for both the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute and the Advanced Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy program in Nashville.

Volney Gay, PhD is Emeritus Professor of Psychiatry, Religious Studies, and Anthropology, Vanderbilt University. He is also Training and Supervising Analyst, the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. He has published nine books in the areas of psychiatry, religion, and anthropology. His newest book is American Slavery: Privileges and Pleasures (2021).

Marsha Robertson, LCSWMarsha Robertson, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and certified psychoanalyst in private practice in Nashville. She serves on the faculty of St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute where she is a training and supervising analyst. In 2001, she along with John Waide, PhD LCSW, started the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program of Nashville, acting as co-director for twelve years.
