Nashville Center for Psychoanalysis & Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
The Nashville Center for Psychoanalysis & Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (also formerly known as "Nashville Psychoanalytic Study Group") is a local chapter of the American Psychoanalytic Association, which is itself a regional chapter of the International Psychoanalytical Association. The study group meets monthly during the academic year to discuss topics of psychoanalytic interest and sponsors occasional workshops or public presentations.
Instructors and presenters of all courses and programs sponsored by the Nashville Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy will make known to their audiences what they have done to insure the accuracy and clinical utility of the material they present. The Nashville Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy requires all instructors and presenters of courses and programs sponsored by the Center to provide a statement to their students/audiences announcing whether they have an actual or potential Conflict of Interest associated with the materials they use and present. This statement is provided verbally or in written form on syllabi/program announcements.
The study group is open to interested mental health professionals of diverse disciplines.
